Med School

Facts and Arguments illo telling the tale of a person who followed their heart, quitting their job and returned to school then gained a place at med school. Uplifting story and a testament to the idiom 'life's too short'.

Science and Self Help

Globe Books review from Saturday 7th print version of the newspaper. A double book review combining the rather lengthy titled: Selected: Why some people lead, why others follow, and why it matters, reviewed with : Nerve: poise under pressure, serenity under stress, and the brave new science of fear and cool. So here's an illustration managing fear with leaders and followers. Wanted to keep it humourous in keeping with the light touch popular science books tend to have.

Place of Birth

Another Facts and Arguments illustration here, print publish date 6th May. A Canadian woman returns to Scotland with her mother to find the house where she was born. The bagpipes, which once annoyed her, now spark a sense of belonging.
